D-aspartic acid accumulates in the pituitary, the pineal gland and the testes. Despite its lower concentration in the body, its role matters, because it stimulates the release of sex hormones. That is why D-aspartic acid is of particular interest to bodybuilders and to men looking for a supplement to support testosterone levels.

A decline in testosterone is normal after a certain age. These days, though, it is increasingly common among men of any age.
